One of our customers sent us this picture of his Agave Handplane on the beach in Hawaii. He is stoked on the way it performs and wanted to share this pic with all of us.

Custom Agave Handplanes
I’m just finishing up a couple of custom agave cactus handplanes. These little boards are super light, and are covered in two layers of 4oz. cloth top and bottom. One of the handplanes also got a custom resin tint, which adds a cool effect to the unique color and grain of the agave. These little puppies are awesome! Call us if you’d like a custom cactus handplane.

The Yosemite Face lift is an annual clean up put on by Ken Yager and the Yosemite Climbing Association. The Face Lift is a very special event where volunteers come from around the globe to clean up the park in an unprecedented grass roots effort. You will never see Yosemite as clean as after the Face Lift. Thanks to everyone who participated!!

Redwood / Poplar “Channel Monster” Handplane
SOLD
Another snub-nosed little handplane, made of recycled Redwood and Poplar. Classy striped design looks wonderful, especially with the coconut fish inlay on top and abalone circle inlay on bottom. This “Channel Monster” gets its name from the 7 channels running down the bottom of the plane, funnelling and directing water off the back of the plane giving you maximum control and speed.

Redwood “Stinger” Handplane

This Handplane was built out of recycled Redwood, Pine, and Poplar. It has a triple concave on the bottom, an abalone inlay on the top, and it wants to charge some big waves! 15″ long, includes recycled neoprene hand strap.

Curly Redwood Handplane

This little handplane is made of curly Redwood and a Padauk stringer. The wood was salvaged from an old Victorian house here in SC. Many of the old buildings here in town were built using old-growth Redwood timbers, so whenever people remodel their homes we try to get the old wood and give it a new life. This little snub-nosed handplane has an abalone inlay on the bottom, and a brass fish inlay on top. Single deep concave on bottom for good control while in the pocket. Includes a neoprene hand strap made from recycled wetsuits.

This is a custom-designed 10″ glass-on fin made of Aromatic Cedar, Leopard wood, and Maple strips on a 6″ base, finished off with a clear epoxy halo around it.
