A tribute board built before the loss of the great Michael Peterson.  This 6’2″ replica of the MP Morning of the Earth board is made of a beautifully faded green Poplar.  The single fin is made from salvaged Redwood and scrap Poplar.  The wide point forward at 20 3/4 encourages the rider to ride up on the board, lending itself to long drawn out turns.  The rails are turned down throughout the board and at 2 5/8ths thick, this board has no trouble paddling or catching waves.  A second model built from salvaged redwood will be posted shortly.
